NCHA players represent Victoria

Three North Central hockey players, Joseph Reid (Birchip-Watchem), Keelan Westerland (Donald) and Luke Jackson (St Arnaud) will represent Victoria in the Under 15 National Championships in Hobart from 11-19 April 2015. Each player attended trials in January and February this year and were notified of their selection into the team.  At the Championships there will be 12 State teams competing for the title. Victoria is sending two teams to the Championships, Joseph and Luke will be competing in the Victoria 1 team and Keelan in the Victorian 2 team. The boys travel to Melbourne twice a week for training at various venues across Melbourne for nine weeks. It is great to see Joseph, Keelan and Luke's hard work being rewarded and their local hockey clubs and Association being represented at State level.  We congratulate the boys on their selection and wish them well at the Championships
